Google April Fool's Joke...Can't Wait for it!

For many years (2000 - 2007), Google has chosen April 1st for launching some of its actual products.Ex. Google launch its Gmail (1GB) shortly before 31st of March 2004 Midnight. Many people thinks its fake because at that time, no one ever offer free 1GB of storage before. And also because of many other products that released on April 1st turns to be fake. Google use this as a marketing strategy as everyone would spread the news around thinking that this is not real, but then surprise to realize that it is real. 

But the other fake products also too good to be true...

Google Guip is a 'fictitious' drink that can increase your intelligent. It comes with 4 flavors! They are:

2005 - Gmail Paper & Google TiSP

Wow! 2 new service in one day! Google Paper is a new service for Gmail (the joke that I liked most too) It adds a Paper Archive button in GMail. When you click it after selecting some emails...it'll print them on a '96% post-consumer organic soybean sputum' and send them to you absolutely FREE!!! This is because of the ad that is printed on the back of each paper. If your email got pictures(attachment), it'll print them on high quality glossy paper!

Google TiSP is the shortform of Toilet Internet Service Provider. It provide free internet access of 2Mb/s, but Google also provide Enterprise version of 4Mb/s & 8Mb/s...all for a very low price! They didn't even change all the graphic...

The artist also say that he found the sound file that he forgot to delete in its Snow Day game source file appear in the Decompiled Olympic one.

If you really want to copy, you can at least change all the graphic or credit the original artist...

Well, the Olympic web site had remove the game from the web site, but I really want to try the game~

By the way, it also added new sample code to its iPhone Dev Center.

PicLens - New way of viewing images on the Web!

PicLens is an addon for a web browser to allow users view images on the web with fullscreen, and also 3D!

Below shows the operating system & web browser it supports (for now, of course)

            

PicLens works with many image website such as Flickr & DeviantART. It also supports Google Image, Yahoo Image, Picasa Web Album, facebook, Friendster & many more.

iPhone SDK

Apple released its iPhone software development kit (SDK). It is available for download now at developer.apple.com. Apple also touted a June software update that will enable a series of new iPhone games capitalizing on the device's touchscreen and motion-sensing capabilities. All upgrades are tied to Apple's stated goal of selling 10 million iPhones by the end of the year--according to CEO Steve Jobs, the device already boasts a 28 percent smartphone marketshare, behind BlackBerry maker Research In Motion at 41 percent.

While Apple will make the iPhone SDK available for free, developers must also join Apple's developer program for $99 to secure distribution for their applications via the App Store, a new application the computing giant will embed on all iPhones. The App Store will deliver all iPhone applications, both free and premium, and will serve as the exclusive platform for iPhone app distribution. Apple will also create a section of its iTunes digital storefront where users may browse available iPhone apps. According to Apple, developers will name the price of their premium applications, with Apple taking 30 percent of revenues off the top "to pay for running the App Store."

  All of these features will arrive with version 2.0 of the iPhone firmware, which is scheduled to arrive in June.
